How I Fell for You
Now I close my eyes
And reminisce on all the times I fell
Off my bike
On the sidewalks
On skates and skateboards
I lower my head and smile
Now I open my eyes
And think of that day when I fell for you
When you first kissed me
When you first told me you loved me
When you held me
I lower my head and smile
It's funny because I believe I'm
Still falling
I could show you all the the scars
I received from falling so much
I could also pour my heart out
To you about the definite scar
I received from falling over you
I never thought I would be here with you
All of this seems like a dream
But it feels so real
Because the feeling I get from falling
Is far too realistic to be a fantasy.
Now I close my eyes again
And reminisce on all the times I fell
I lower my head and smile
Now I think of the day when I fell
For you
It's funny because I believe I'm
Still falling
Now I open my eyes
And this time I'll keep them open
Because I don't want to miss
One second of this.
