You Stole my Heart
My day starts gray
And turns to black
In the cold
But feel so hot
You’re up
I’m down
I’m here
You’re there
You’re right
So does that mean I’m wrong?
Wrong for leaving you like I did
Wrong for never explaining
Wrong for being me
If being me is wrong
Then I really don’t want to be right
Leaving you left a hole in my chest
A hole where my heart should be
You stole my heart
And are still unwilling to return it
But please
You have no use of it anymore
I need to fill the emptiness in me
I need to find a new man
And I need to give him my heart
Because
You never truly accepted me
Accepted me for me
