Little Freckles
Freckles on her cheeks
And her tiny, little nose
Blue eyes that sparkle
And dirt between her toes
Silly songs and stories
That makes me smile
To hear her little voice
Takes only one dial
Her heart as big
As it could be
She wants to grow up
To be just like me
Her jokes help me
When times are tough
Her toothless smile
Is just enough
My little munchkins’ name
Is my Emma Kate
She’s coming for a visit
So I can hardly wait.
She holds a place
Inside my heart
When we’re together
Or even apart.
