Nectronians

“Hey Max, it’s a beautiful Sunday isn’t it?” asked Alice.
“No I hate Sundays” I said.
“Why, and don’t worry you could tell me anything.” She said.
“Okay here it goes”. I said while taking a deep breath.
The sun was coming up and mother was cooking breakfast and father was reading the
paper. It’s Sunday because I can smell the hash browns and eggs we have every Sunday or at
least we used to at the time. I walk out of my room and hear Ike across the hall snoring really
loud. Poleson’s room is right next door to mine and his door was open.
“Wait Max which ones which again because I only met both your brothers once” asked Alice.
Oh Right okay I’m the youngest of three then it is Ike then Poleson. Ike is the middle child and
has brown hair and blue eyes. Poleson has black hair and brown eyes.
“Okay how far apart you are guys again?” asked Alice.
Right now I’m twelve years old Ike’s fourteen and Poleson is sixteen.
“Okay thanks now you can continue on with your story.” Alice said.
Okay where did I leave off… Right, I saw Poleson’s door open, so I figured he was awake so I
knocked on the door softly.
Then Poleson said “Leave me alone tell mother I’m not hungry”.
I say okay and went down stairs. The closer I go to the kitchen the stronger the smell of
breakfast and the hungrier I got. I walk in the kitchen and my mother and father is fighting, but
in a whisper. Not sure what they were fighting about, but as soon as they saw me my mother
wipes her tears and sets the food on the table.
“Max do not forget to say your prayers before you eat, where are your brothers? Why aren’t they awake yet?” Mother asked.
“Well Ike is snoring up a storm and Poleson told me to leave him alone and that he isn’t hungry”. I replied.
“Max go get your brothers and tell them I have a surprise for the three of you.” Father says as he makes his way to his seat at the table.
I nod my head and went upstairs. I went into Ike’s bedroom first because it is easier to wake him up. Ike was seven years old at the time. I pat his arm and said “Ike its time to get up father wants to tell us something”.
“Okay, Max ill be right there I’m just going to change clothes” he says while stretching.
I left his room and went across the hall for Poleson’s room. At the time
Poleson was nine years old. I knock on Poleson’s door and put my ear to it so I could hear if he
responds. The door opened and I fall forwards.
“I thought I told you to tell mother I wasn’t hungry” he said grumpily.
“Father wants to tell us a surprise so he told me to come get you” I said while getting back to my feet.
“Whatever fine” he said.
Poleson puts his hand on my head and pushes me out of the way and I fall down once again. As
soon as I got back up I went down stairs and go back to the kitchen where everyone is sitting
at the table ready to eat the food. I sit down and say my prayers then start eating. While we all
are seated at the table my father starts to tell us a surprise.
“Alright now that we are all here, I can tell you guys that we are all going to the fair today as soon as we are done eating breakfast”.
My brothers and I yelled with excitement. After breakfast we all go in the car and head to the
fair. It took a half hour to drive and as soon as we got there mother helps me out of the booster
seat and I run as fast as I could to the entrance. As I was running the parking lot seamed so big
because the entrance looked so far away. I felt like I ran so fast that I could fly, but instead I
tripped and fell once again. When I was younger I tend to fall a lot but anyways, while I was
dusting myself off a car was coming. The car was moving at a good amount of speed that as
soon as I saw it I froze. I was so scared I felt like I couldn’t move.
Then two hands grabbed the back of my shirt and pulled me out of the way. I fell to the
ground and looked up to see who saved my life and it was Ike. He pulls out his hand and helps me up then asked with a worried look on his face “Bro are you alright?”
I nod my head and wipe the tears that are trying to come out. Poleson runs to me and punches me in the arm and says. “you idiot are you trying to get yourself killed or are you just plain stupid!”
Mother runs to pick me up then holds me and says “Max that was so reckless of you, if Ike wasn’t there to save you, who knows what would of happened, you need to be more careful like your brother Ike.”
“I know I’m sorry” I said still wiping the tears away. Because of me we ended up going on four
rides; Ferris wheel, Superman ride, Maze and the Space Ship Super ride. Then father said it was
time to go home. As we walked to the car mother made me hold her hand the whole way to the
car. We got ourselves together in the car and started heading home, but before we got there
we had to stop for gas. We stopped at Circle K. fathers goes in the store to get everyone a drink
and mother is putting gas in the car. Then once she finishes mother sits in the driver seat
waiting for father to come back. While waiting mother is still lecturing me on how I need to be
careful and more like Ike. Poleson is also sticking his Tung at me because I am in trouble. As
mother was lecturing me we all of a sudden heard three gun shots and see someone in all black
run out with a pillow case. Mother gets worried and runs out of the car and goes inside the
store. My brothers and I are left in the car so I managed to unbuckle my self from the booster
seat and make my way outside. I ran to the Circle K entrance and once I walk in I see my mother
crying over a man in the corner of the store. I walked closer to my mother and I saw the man’s
face. It was my father dead on the floor; he was shot through the heart there was no chance in
saving him.
“So that’s why I hate Sundays and how my father died” I said.
“Wow, I’m so sorry about your loss” Said Alice.
Its fine it happened awhile ago I was five then” I said.
“Yeah, but still that must have been hard on you, who else have you told this story to?” asked Alice.
“Other than my family that knows, I’ve only told you, but besides we are best friends so I feel like I can tell you anything” I said.
“Right.” Alice said.
“Okay, well I should head home now talk to you later”. I said.
Okay bye max.” she replied.
As soon as I got home my mother hands me a letter. It’s from your father he wrote it before
you boys were born. It explains who you and your brothers really are. I grabbed the letter and
go to the living room to read it and Poleson and Ike are both there waiting for me. I then start
to read it out loud.
Dear boys,
If you are reading this then I didn’t live long enough to tell you boys in person who exactly you guys are. You boys aren’t only human, but you are also a Nectronian from another plant called Nectronia in another dimension as well. You guys will receive certain kind of powers and don’t get it till a certain age of maturity. Since I am full Nectronian I was born with all my powers. I know I’m not there to teach you boys how to use them, but I did leave videos that would be helpful. Once you three receive your wonderful gifts you would also feel a change, but not that much. Instead of your face turning red when agree your eyes will show how angry you are by how red they are. Since you are half Nectronian you could breathe Earth and Nectronian air without injecting anything into your skin. Tiny holes on the side of your neck one on each side would appear but don’t worry it is hardly noticeable. The holes on the side of your Neck would help you boys breath Nectronian air. I wish you three well.

“What the heck? So are you telling me that I’m half alien?” I said with a confused look on my face.
“Yes son you boys contain powers on your Nectronian side” said mother.
“So are we good guys or bad guys?” asked Ike.
“You are whatever you want to be or what destiny may take you” responds mother.
“This is really interesting is there any books on our kind?” Asked Poleson.
“Yes it is in the basement” mother said.
Poleson leaves the room and heads to the basement.
“so its up to me on what I want to do in life right?” said Ike.
“Yes whatever you want to do in life is all up to you at this point you boys are old enough to make your own decisions” mother said.
Ike then walks out and doesn’t say a word. As I watched him walk out I thought it was off, not
right even the conversation was weird, but I kept it to myself and thought nothing else of it.


Its been two years and I am now fourteen years old, Ike is eighteen and Poleson is twenty.
Poleson moved to the planet Nectron to train himself and learn more about our religion and
just who we are exactly. Ike has been really weird lately because he would leave the house at a
certain time everyday and come home really late; it makes me wonder what he is up to now of
days. As soon as Ike leaves to who knows where my mother calls me into the kitchen.
“Max sit down” says mother.
“What’s up” I asked?
“Ike isn’t the brother you used to know anymore.” She says.
“What are you talking about?” I questioned.
“Okay your kind the Nectonians are not only aliens, but also demands that live on a planet in another dimension and named it after themselves. Your father was the king or lord of all the demands. The planet Nectron is made of human souls that is why it is much bigger and stronger than earth. Demons from their world would come to earth and kill many humans and take the souls back to the planet so it could stay living.”
“what? So Okay what does this has to do with Ike?” I asked.
“Well since your father was king or lord of the demons, Ike is their training to take is his place. Oh my throat is parched could you please pass me my water please son?”
I grabbed the water and handed it to her. “so who is training Ike?” I asked.
Mother takes a sip and continues to speak. “This water taste weird, but okay the person who is training Ike is…”
Mom? Mom? I yelled.
I quickly go to the phone on the wall and called 911. My mother just had a heart attack come quickly. The ambulance came and took my mother to the hospital. I went there as well. I waited for two hours and the doctor came out and says “your mother didn’t make it, she passed away.”
Poleson came in and said “I had a vision about this so I came as soon as I could, don’t worry I am here for you bro.” Since I was still a minor Poleson decides to me with him to live in Nectronia. Poleson took my hand and teleports us to Nectronia.
“Okay the Planet Nectronia is behind this door.”
“What are you talking about why are there so many doors instead of planets circling a sun or something?”
“Every dimension is different instead of planets circling a sun, there are doors and behind them are planets that you could live on.” Said Poleson.
“Oh Okay I get it, but why do we live here mother already told me this is made up of human soles and that we are demons as well? I asked.
“Max we are not evil and we are not demons we are Nectronian’s and we used to use human soles now we found a more safer and healthier way in keeping this planet alive” Poleson said.
“But then why did mother said Ike and father was demons, are they not?” I asked.
“You see Nectronians are different creatures than you could imagine because it depends on what path in life you take in order for you to become a demon or stay as a Nectronian. You and I chose the path of good and Ike chose the path of evil that is just how life is.” Poleson said.
“So there isn’t any way in getting our brother to realize that he is not a demon but a Nectronian.” I said with a said look on my face.
“Well we could try to make him realize that, but I’m not sure if he would want to give up the life as a demon to become a Nectronian.”
“So wait your telling me that it is possible for him to be on our side?” I asked.
“Yes but you would need to beat him in a battle in order for him to realize, do you want to put in the time and effort to beat your own brother?” asked Poleson.
“Remember he is your brother too and yes I must make him realize, so we all could have the bond as brothers we once had before.” I said with confidence.
“Okay your training starts as soon as we walk through these doors to your new home, Nectronia.” Poleson said.
I opened the doors and saw shining light coming out. I walk in and as soon as I got one foot down then the other I fell straight to the ground the gravity was really heavy here I struggle to get myself back up.
Poleson walks besides me and squats down “you need help there?” he asked.
“No I got this!” I yelled. The gravity is ten times heavier than earth’s gravity, but I will do what
ever it takes to train to beat my brother Ike. There was grass on the ground and the sky was
actually blue, this is not what I expected at all. I thought everything was going to look dead or
something and grey everywhere. It looks as if I never left earth the only difference is the
gravity. Then I saw some of the animals walking around, there were mythical creatures unicorns
dragons I was so surprised to see that all these creatures actually excised. I’m not going to focus
on this though I am going to work on training so I could defeat my brother I shall get him by
surprise.

Two years passed and I’m sixteen now and Poleson is training me to take down Ike. The powers
I gained are teleportation, I can control water and make it come out of my hands and I can fly.
What I’ve learned about Ike is that he could control fire, use teleportation and fly. Poleson can
use electricity, teleport and fly. Tomorrow is when I fight him and I will try to get him on our
side and we all could finally become brothers again and has that bond we once had.
“Max go to bed we have a big day tomorrow.” Said Poleson.
I nodded my head and went to sleep. The next day comes and I’m ready to defeat my brother
Ike. Poleson and I found where Ike was training and ambushed him. At first Ike was surprised but then started laughing. A man step out and says
“So you think you could defeat Ike, well I’ve been training him for the longest time and I
believe you would lose.”
The man that said that was my father. Even though I am really shocked
Poleson seamed to know all along. Ike throws a fire ball at me I dogged it but barely by jumping
sideways. Then he throws another one and it hits me. I get up and try scolding him with water
that comes from my hands. Poleson throws a sword towards me and father throws one
towards Ike as well. We both fly in the air to catch it and now is sword fighting. Ike heats up the
blade of his sword so it would hurt me even more. Ike takes the first swing I duck and swing my
sword for his arm. I may not try to kill him but he is trying to kill me so I must do what ever it
takes to stay alive. Ike and I clings the swords and we both get pushed back. I tried scolding him with water again, but he seems to be faster then me and keeps dodging my attacks. I put water on my blade of the sword so it could cut him smoothly and help me move faster. Then we charged at each other and pierced each others heart. We are both struggling to stay up.
Ike screams “why do you care so much to beat me when you die in the process!”
Then I reply by saying “to have that bond as brothers we once had long ago, but it was me who failed you and Poleson for that I am sorry.”
We both fell to the ground bleeding and almost dead. Father Picked up Ike and teleported out
of here. Poleson picks my head up and I see him tearing because he lost not one,
but two brothers. I died that day, at least that’s what I thought……
