Once there were two cities who competed to have the purest water in the world. One city was named Bayda and the other was named Evanston. They both lived on Drop Island off of the coast of Florida. Every year these two cities competed in a contest named Splash to see who had the best water, but this year the contest will change both cities forever. There is a young boy that lives in Evanston by the name of Token. Token is a very nice, smart, and curious boy and all he ever wants to do is please people. He was brown haired, with blue eyes, and he liked physical activity. Evanston is a very wealthy city. There aren’t many buildings in Evanston and there is vegetation surrounding the city. The sound of Birds chirping peacefully as they fly into their trees and streams flowing down river peacefully made the scenery very calming. Bayda is the opposite. It has tall buildings and big lights. The rivers in Bayada are used for electricity and help people all the time in Bayada. Bayada is a more exotic town. This year the Splash contest was going to be different and change the way the two towns competed against forever.

So one day, Token woke up and today was an ordinary day. The two towns were still going at it. Bayda would pollute Evanston’s water with trash all the time. After Bayda would pollute their waters Evanston would always clean up and purify it again. Evanston was always the more nice town out of the two, making the people of Evanston more nice and the people of Bayada were always very mean and snotty. So as you can infer Token was a young innocent boy who was nice to everyone. Token walked out of his three story house that rested on top of a hill with a stream surrounding it.Token always liked taking walks, he was an outdoor type of guy. The smell of water would always shoot into his nose as he stepped out of his house. That’s why he lived on the border of Evanston, where there was more nature. The young boy continued to take his stroll through the town looking at all the new stores that were recently opened. One store caught his eye and it was called the “PP”. He walked inside and saw a bunch of high tech gadgets. He had no idea what they did, but they kinda gave off a bad vibe. Token could feel this strong presence of bad or evil. He walks up to the counter and notices that no one is there. He reaches over and hits the service bell. After five minutes there is no response. He tries again and after another five minutes, no response. Token’s persistence leads him to ring the bell one last time, but this time he got an immediate response. A tall man with overalls, dark glasses, and a long frisky beard that reached his chest came out and stared at Token.

“Yes?” said the man.

“Uhh… Yeah, when did you guys open this store, I’ve never seen it before?” said Token.

“We opened it yesterday,” said the man now what's a little kid like you doing in a store like this?”

“Well I have to get going anyways so good day,” said Token as he quickly rushed out of the store. “Well that was unpleasant and I know that store is up to something,” whispered Token to himself. “Anyways, I’m tired and tomorrow is the big day,” said Token. The Splash Festival was tomorrow and every night before the festival the two towns had a pact. The pact was that the two towns would leave each other’s water alone only for this one special night, but this year that was broken. A couple of troublemakers from Bayada snuck into Evanston at night and grabbed a machine no one has seen before. With this machine they polluted Evanston’s water and left without being noticed. The next morning the Mayor of Evanston was devastated to see that his water was destroyed.

“There is no way we can compete against Bayada now,” said the Mayor. “I guess we'll just have to try next year,” said the Mayor to the people. This made the people of Evanston sad and they were oblivious to the fact that Bayada may have had something to do with this, except for Token. Token knew that the water didn’t just go bad over night, someone must have done something to it. The night before the festival both cities are heavily guarded, so that means if anyone would want to harm the city they would have to do it from the inside out first. This got Token thinking about that suspicious store that had just opened up, but there was no proof to back this theory up. So Token continued to walk home thinking about who did this. He couldn’t think of anyone, so he started to give up. His mouth got drier and drier as his options did as well. As he got closer to his house he saw his trash overflowing. He looked inside and saw a machine he had never seen before. Token picked it up and inspected it. He saw the logo “PP” on the bottom of it. “I knew that that store looked suspicious,” said Token. Token rushed over to the Mayors office. When he reached the office he found the inspector and the Mayor talking.

“I’m sorry, but i’m going to have to give the first place prize to Bayada,” said the Inspector.

“Wait, I have proof that Bayada interfered with the pact,” said Token. Token explained that the machine he found was from the new mysterious store that opened up called “PP”. Since the towns are heavily guarded from the outside the only way Bayada could harm them was from the inside, they needed a connection. Their connection was the new store. The inspector was convinced and they had a visit with the Bayada mayor. The Bayada mayor confessed about the crime and was put in jail. Then Bayada was disqualified from the festival for cheating and for years to come they could not compete against Evanston. All Token wanted to do was make everything right, but not many were happy. The two towns hated each other even more now and Token had to live with this.
