Jacob's Memoir

When he was nine there was a fun party that his family had and of course his cousin was there and they would play together. They were playing WWE, but in real life and we played outside.

His cousin had done this one move to him that had twisted his leg. He heard it pop. He told his mom but she didn’t believe him.

She took him to the hospital anyways and it was actually broken. He had got a red cast.

He hated being in a wheelchair and having to get help to even use the bathroom. He can even remember how he felt and the way the trees would sway when he would sit on the porch. He watched his friends play outside because he couldn’t play with them.

A week later was his birthday he was sitting down in a comfy chair after getting help into his birthday outfit, his family came over and sat on the floor next to him to watch him open his presents.

He remembers all the sad stuff he got for his birthday. He would get stuff like a football or basketball, his aunt even got him a trampoline. But the reason it was sad to him was because he couldn’t play with any of those presents because he couldn't walk or anything.

Something that stayed with him his whole life was actually given to him that day. It was a brown Scarface picture in a huge frame and it had a quote on it.the quote was about how many people came to the sun washed beaches of miami looking for the dream and one of them found it his name was scarface.

When he finally got his cast off it felt so amazing. It was hard at first to try to walk but he got the hang of it and realized how much he missed out on. When he could walk around, he soon realized how tall he was and that he wouldn't have to reach up for stuff or ask for help. Now today he has that picture on his wall and he never plays WWE, ever.

He learned his lesson and how big of a impact fooling around and playing could have on his life if he was hurt. He realized that the experience was so bad he wouldn’t wish it on his worst enemy. His name was Jacob. Jacob is me, and Jacob like scarface he has gone through some stuff.
