One Day...
One day, I’ll wake up and realize that I’m someone else, for, I will have become a product of modern society. My eyes will become vacant and my mind, futile. The foundation of my self-portrait will crumble, as new walls and boundaries rise, revelations will no longer faze me. I will simply exist as separate parts, a combination of images and ideas, nothing connecting. My conscience will disintegrate; there will be no right and wrong. Aspirations will keep me within the same four walls and memories will inhibit me. At that moment, I will know that I have “grown up.” Oh, how I fear that day.
