A Day with Friends
There were blood curdling screams, people shoving each other like it's the running of the bulls. The lines longer than black friday, some there were seagulls scouring the sky looking for food and trying to crap on everyone who dangerously walks underneath them unknowingly. The vague stench of beer and body odor fill your nostrils like you’re living in a dumpster, but Lake Michigan is as crystal blue as I have ever seen it, and the sun is high and bright, for some reason 11 am at cedar point never felt so right.
The most noticeable thing in cedar point are the lines. You go to ride these rides but end up standing in line for about 2 hours unless you splurge out and buy the fast pass ( allows whoever has it to skip to the front of the line). But a part of the excitement is waiting in line, it was me, my brother, his girlfriend, and her two friends. Now the thing about waiting so long to get on a ride is you will most definitely see some colorful people, for instance while waiting in line for the new coaster the valravn I seen a woman dressed as a hotdog. That’s how any great day should start and it was one of the best days I,ve had in a long time we rode all the rides and went to a buffet. On the way home I was sleeping like I was on a cloud. When I got home that night tired, sweaty and smelly I realised you don’t need electronics to have fun. All you need is good friends and a fun place and it turns any ordinary day into an amazing one.
