New Stranger Things Season Review
On May 27, Stranger Things released its fourth season. This is very exciting for many Stranger Things fans, including me, because it’s taken three years for this season to come out. I’ve been a fan of the show since season 1 released in 2016. Now that the fourth season has been released, I’m more than eager to binge watch it.
My family’s always enjoyed the show so when we heard there was another season coming out this year, we were ecstatic. We’ve been waiting three years for the new season to come out. There’s still more episodes coming out in July, but so far it’s been an amazing season. The episodes are around an hour long, but they go by quickly and I finished them in two days. Even though it left on a cliffhanger, I think it’ll all come together when the last episodes are released.
One thing I really enjoyed this season was that there were three different plots/POVS going on. This season follows Eleven’s journey to regaining her powers and her mysterious past in the Hawkins Lab. This season dives deeper into Eleven’s past and how she struggles to fit in seemingly everywhere she goes. It also follows along with the rest of the main characters as they go on the adventure and uncover the mystery of Vecna’s curse. Compared to the other seasons where the characters would pretty much do things together, this season they split up and solved the problems apart. I think it was very creative for the writers to do this because it left the viewer wondering what would happen next.
So far, I rate this season a 9/10 because there was never a boring moment, and I was on the edge of my seat from the beginning to the end. I recommend this show to people interested in action, science fiction, and fantasy because all of those genres come into play.
