“Annabelle”
“There are things happening that I can’t explain.”- Mia Form

That quote is from an American supernatural psychological horror film called “Annabelle”. This movie is all about a possessed doll named Annabelle. It got it’s name from a girl who was named Annabelle Higgins, she died with this doll in her arms. So that’s how the start of the movie goes. It takes place in Santa Monica in the year 1969. The movie revolves around the Form family which consists of a mother, father, and baby girl.

The family gets a doll that completed a set they had. As the movie went on, the two producers, Peter Safran and James Wan, did a nice job of making Annabelle get a little more beat up each time something happened with the doll. This movie is supposedly based off of facts from the ghost-hunters, Ed and Lorraine Warren. The movie itself was interesting but it wasn’t as realistic because it revolved around a doll.

“Annabelle” was released in 2014 and was supposed to be a spin-off of “The Conjuring”. The movies weren't supposed to be sequels of each other, but they both had part of the same story to them. Towards the end of the movie, Mia Form, played Annabelle Wallis, and John Form, played by Ward Horton, eventually get rid of the doll. Then it shows where the doll finally ends up and that final spot is what the beginning of “The Conjuring” is. So if you would like a little scare in your life from a doll, this is the movie for you.
