The book “The House on Mango Street” by Sandra Cisneros was a very confusing book. This book i wouldn’t really recommend to anyone because I wasn’t interested in the book so much.

The plot of this book didn’t really catch my eye of interest. The main character is a girl who didn’t like her name and didn’t feel like she fitted in very much. Even though she felt comfortable at the house on mango street. She still felt she didn’t belong. She talks about her leaving Mango Street all together. She does plan on coming back.
The reason i didn’t like this book was because it was all over the place. The fact that nothing added up together and the chapters didn’t correlate with one another. Therefore this made me lose interest in the book all together.
In conclusion, I wouldn’t say don’t read the book because everyone has a different view on this book. This is for those who aren’t really big fans of book to begin with i would say this book isn’t really gonna catch your interest very much. For me it didn’t speak to me at all.
