Seventeen-year old Jenna Fox just woke up from a 18-month coma and no one will tell her what happened. Of course, Jenna had many questions that eventually find out for herself along her journey of finding herself again. The Adoration of Jenna Fox is a science fiction book by Mary E. Pearson, about a girl named Jenna Fox who was in a car accident that involved her two best friends. Jenna and her family had to move from Boston to California, her parents said, “It was for the best,” but Jenna felt otherwise. Throughout the book, Jenna has to find herself using discs from the start of her life up to the accident.

I thought this book was a good read for sci-fi lovers, also anybody who just wants a good read for a few days. I like the way the Pearson uses little intervals through the whole story to help the reader understand the things Jenna are going through better. I also feel as if many people can relate to Jenna, the feeling of being lost. We all feel some variation of lost at some point of our lives when we are desperately trying to find our inner selves. In all, The Adoration of Jenna Fox is just an all around good read for readers of all ages if you're interested in the sci-fi genre or if you just need to wind down, The Adoration of Jenna Fox is one of your best bets.
