The book i chose for the reader review is Armageddon Summer by Jane Yolen her best selling book would be Armageddon Summer which about a bunch of people that think the world is going to end. The word Armageddon means the battle between good and evil before the day of judging, so the book talks about two families that decide to go to Mount Wee Upcut one of the families were Maria and her mom and brother and the other family was jeds family and he came with his father. Maria and Jed seen each other in church and Maria finds him cute and her mom tells her that she is not allowed to like a boys because that a sinful thing. The person to come up the the group name is Reverend Berelson and the group name is “The Millennialist Movement” basically meaning “The Believers” and they only allow 144 people in the mountain church because they believe the rest did horrible thing and should deal with god punishments. I think the author did an amazing job of explaining the book and you would not get confused because you know what's going on and it's understandable. A quote that i chose from the book is when maria said “you're not god you don't know who did sinful things and who didn’t” (Yolen 81). She said that to her mom because her mom kept on judging others by how they look and she god mad at her mother and told her that. I would recommend this book to people who like to read about church and the world ending and such thing. I would not recommend this book to people who are very religious and takes things very serious when it comes to religion, but i think it would offend anyone.  Another thing is that Jed mother didn't come because her father said she did bad things and Maria father didn't come because the mother thought her did bad thing, and both Maria and Jed didn't want to come with their parents to the church.
