For my readers review, i read The Lost King by Margaret Weis. This is a sci-fi novel about a young boy named Dion. Dion lives with a man named platus. Platus homeschools Dion and Dion has no idea of who he is or where he came from. One day, Platus brings Dion to a mercenary named Tusk to protect him. It turns out a warlord is on the hunt for dion because apparently he is very important. Throughout the novel, dion is on the run from the warlord, and meets new companions and conflicts.

In my opinion, this story is good, but it seems to drag out for a long time. The story is very interesting, with  a lot of backstory. This story is basically a clone of star wars and star trek. I would suggest this book to fans of sci-fi, like star wars or star trek, otherwise, i don't think this book would be very interesting. This story is also very long, it took me a good amount of time to finish this book, and it didn’t really pull me into the story at all. It wasn't a fun story to read, it felt like a chore.

In conclusion, this story is a very long, and detailed. Personally, i will not be reading the rest of this series because i am just not interested. If you like sci-fi, this is the book for you. If not, I would find another series.
