The Crossover by Kwame Alexander
Chuck bell has a son named Jordan(JB) and Josh. This book is a novel-in-verse. The author talks about how family works together and stays together even during hard times.
Kwames writing is easy to read. This book expressed a lot of relationships between their family. The two twin brothers really love basketball. They want to be professional basketball players when they get older. Their dad was a professional basketball player. He shares his past with the twins every time they are together, they have a close bond. At the end something terrible happens….
People will really enjoy this book because it shows that family loves, and cares about each other. Also it encourages siblings to be close a little closer with their family members because you never know what situation will happen.
I would think that this book should be for teenagers because the main character are teens and it could relate to there real life situations. Also it will influence them to get involved with their families so that they could love eachother more and spend more time with each other.
