The Crossover by Kwame Alexander
I didn’t liked to read until I read this book and it inspired me to read.No book is good like this.Kwame Alexander expressed so good that it felt that I was in it.He wrote it like we were the people we knew how much they both like basketball ( Josh and Jb ).
In the Crossover,it’s about Josh likes and play basketball with his twin Jb.They found out how his dad a patellar tendinitis and his dad ( Chuck Bell ) didn’t get surgery.Chuck dad died in a hospital.Later on Jb start spending more time with little Miss Sweet Tea ( JB Girlfriend ) more than he does with his family.
It’s well written from Josh point of view. It’s like we in Josh mind. It’s a magnificent book and it won a Coretta Scott King award and that’s only one of them.
The theme is family is important and Josh and Jb don’t realize it in the middle but they did at the end.
I recommend to everybody people who like books and who don't like books because i didn’t like to read until I read this book.
