My Life and the Beautiful Game by Robert L. Fish
My life and the Beautiful Game was written by Péle and the help of a story writer, Robert L. Fish. This book is an autobiography, allows the readers to what Péle went through. My life and the Beautiful Game they explains Péle’s life before fútbol, during his career, and after his fútbol career. Péle shows the readers what he had to go threw and how he got to be the professional fútbol he became.
Péle starts of the book by his first time playing for the Brazil national team. He describes the feeling and the pressure he had to play for his nation, like when he said “I remember looking around the stadium, sweat running threw my body, my heart rate rising, look the around seeing all the Brazilian supporters there to see their nation advance through dedication to the finals every nation wants to be in”. In my opinion I felt like he made the readers feel the same pressure, excitement, and joy that he felt. I highly recommend this book if you are a big Fútbol fanatic and want to feel and experience what Péle went through.
