Jaquavis Coleman is a great writer who started writing at 17. Then was discovered by Carl Weber another famous author. He received a publishing deal and made one of his most popular books which is The Cartel. He made The Dopeman’s Wife in 2009. A book about love, lies, and the dope game.

Nautica was a girl raised by the streets and forced to grow up fast. Dope Men pulled her into a world of love, murders, and lies. This book is about all her struggles and obstacles during her attempt to love and happiness. With a surprising conclusion.

This is a urban book with a lot of violence and crime. It also have a lot of intense sexual situations. The dialogue in The Dopeman’s Wife is filled with mostly slang and cursing. Showing how hood and or ghetto the character are meant to seem like in the book.

I recommend this book for you if you're interested in urban like situations or books. If you really read it, it will seem like a movie playing in your head. It has a lot of detail and a lot of intriguing parts and mysteries. I hated reading books, I thought they were boring and tiring until i was forced to read this book for my grade. Now i like reading much more than i used to. If you love reading this is the book for you, if you hate reading The Dopeman’s Wife book may change your mind.
