“One child’s courage to survive,” Child Called It is Dave Pezler first autobiography. It was a national and international Bestseller, celebrating more than 6 years New York Bestseller. Child Called It is about Dave Pezler actual life as a kid.

As you may know David is the main character. His characteristics in Child Called It is that he is strong inside, he has perseverance he never gave up, he is brave, he also has courage, and in my point of view he is lonely.

The theme of Child Called It is survival….. It’s all about survival for him because, how his mom abuse him and hurt him, he still lived. I thought his body would give up.

I really recommend this book because, it will make feel you empathy and make you feel for him when he was a little boy just like how the book did to me. This book made me cry and it made me so mad at his mom for abusing him like how she did. Like i know moms who hit their  kids bad but it’s not as bad as this. And for his dad not to say anything to his mom that got me more mad.

I can’t even imagine how hard his life was for him.
