In holes they are sent off to camp green lake to dig holes in the middle of nowhere so that there behavor will hopefully mature as time goes on. At the camp he finds out there is no lake no water for miles and if he were to try to excape he would probably die. Also he makes some friends with the inmates and also becomes in good standings with the camp counclers. And in the end sanley was released and was found not guilty.

Camp greenlake sounds like a bad place i would not want to go there because its in the middle of nowhere there is almost no water and its always hot and humid.
