Gail Giles book Shattering Glass is a gruesome book. This books end is filled with action, and it has a horrifying ending that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It all starts with a nerdy kid named Simon Glass. What happened to this boy is hard to imagine.

Simon Glass was the school nerd that was always picked on by people. He was a lonely person whose parents barely talked to him. Simon’s life drastically changed when Rob takes Simon and changed him into basically a new person. Simon soon becomes popular and takes his popularity to far which changes events in the book drastically.
The part that I enjoyed the most was to read about Simon’s change and become popular like Rob wanted. I liked to see how Simon’s life and attitude changed after going from nerd to a popular student. When you read this book, you will wonder how just a simple thing can change people and affect them so much.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes suspenseful books and romantic books. People many also like this book if they enjoy reading about adolescent problems that high schools have. I started enjoying this book when it came to the last 50 pages because that is when I believe it becomes interesting.
