Paper Towns by John Green
John Green’s book Paper Towns is one that you won’t forget. The Printz Award winning author puts so much detail into one book, and it is astounding. A New York Times bestseller could really your perspective on life and the life around you.
This book is about a boy named Quentin, aka: “Q”, who goes out on a drive with his neighbor Margo. They go around town getting revenge on people who were disrespecting Margo. The day after the drive Margo disappears. It is up to Q to find Margo using the clues left for him by Margo.
My favorite part of this book was when Margo and Q went around town getting revenge. The best was when Margo and Q got a picture of Jase, Margo’s boyfriend, cheating on her. They called the girl’s parents, and her dad walked downstairs. Before he got down there, Jase took off through the window. As he did this, Q took a pic of him and realized something in the picture. Read the book to find out what happens to Margo, Q, and Jase.
If you like drama, mystery, or adventure books this is a great book for you. I recommend this book to all ages though it may have a few words that may not be appropriate. This is a great book with an even better ending.
