This book is really good. It is nice because it talks about them losing and not just about every time that they win. It talks about what feelings they have when another team beats them or what it means when a certain team beats them. It lets us know how the players feel and about if they play good or not. Like how the line they have is young and gets pushed around a lot. The big thing about this story is that it is not all just about football. It has back ground in the story to help explain the life of the players and what they go through. The city is not really that rich of a city. Some of the players live in houses that are falling apart and have to share the bathrooms and showers with their neighbors. The kicker for their team was not even from America. He was from a different country and when he got here he found out he was living in a falling down building. The only chance he had getting out of there was being a kicker for the team. That is the goal for most of the players is to be good enough to leave. The people in the town care a lot about football and they have a bored online that they write on to talk about the game. The comments are not always the nicest.  This helps push the players because they can read everything that was written. This book has a good story in it. I would recommend it to anyone that likes football or people who like to read about people succeeding in life.
