Why would a fifteen year old boy with asperger’s kill a dog he loves and cares about? In the book “The Curious Incident of the Night Time” by Mark Haddon the main character Christopher has a disability and because of that and also his track record people think he killed the next door neighbor’s, dog. According to Christopher,It started about 1:00 a.m. Christopher was outside at his neighbors. Then he was accused of killing the dog with a garden fork. Now it’s up to Christopher to figure out who actually did it to save himself. Christopher writes in his journal about things that happen to him and around him. At this point you would know he writes about his mother that isn’t around any more and also he wrote about this incident in his point of view. Overall it’s a boy with a disability that is accused of a murder he didn’t commit.
This book by Mark Haddon is one of my most preferred  books because of the fantastic descriptio and also I love a excellent mystery. The style and language is just superior! Mark Haddon describes every little detail amazingly. Christopher as a character is interesting, mysterious, and mischievous, but all together he is a good dynamic character.
This book is my all time favorite! Out of a one through five rating,I give it a five,I give it a five because of the unsolved problems description, and cliff hangers. Another reason I love this book is because the setting, plot, and characters seem so
realistic. So if you are looking for a great cliff hanger and mystery, you have found the right book for you!
