In this book you will meet Sloane. Sloane is a girl, and she has a rough time. You will go with her and learn what happens on the adventure she goes on. The adventure has up and downs, and she has some hard times to overcome. This book is a sci-fi with zombies and Sloane and some people she joins on the way come upon some problems. One problem is the dead. The dead has come “alive” and Sloane and her friends have to overcome this. Sloane has some trouble accepting herself. She thinks down about herself and thinks no one will miss her or care for her.
While I was reading this I thought about how life is short. Life can be taking away or turn out completely different then you want it to be. I have also learned under certain situations how people can act and how they feel about others and themselves. Reading the things she has been through and will go through you will start to understand why she does what she does and think what it will be like to go through that. Sloane has to fight for her life every time she faces the undead. She and the group of people she is with have to learn to work together and care for each other.
I liked this book because it has action, adventure, and some drama in it to make it interesting. The author does a good job in describing events that happen in this book.There is fighting zombies, getting away, and fighting that are some of the events that happen that you just want to keep on reading. There is also some drama, and I am not a big fan on drama, but this book makes the drama interesting. This book makes me want to read another book by Courtney Summer.
I would recommend this book to people who like action and adventure. A lot of things happen throughout this book and it makes you just want to keep on reading. I would also recommended to people who like drama. There is not a lot of drama but there is some and the times that have drama is very interesting. Even if you are a person that does not like drama, it is mostly action and adventure. I would also recommend this to people who like zombies or the undead. Courtney Summer does a good job of describing the undead and events that happen in this book.
