The Westing Game is a fantastic, intriguing story that will keep the reader on the edge of their seat. When mysterious letters arrive in the mail, a group of strangers are brought together with only one thing in common: they are all heirs to the eccentric millionaire Sam Westing, who is found murdered and claims in his will that one of the heirs did it. Strange coincidences and mysterious pasts all come together to form the answer that will win the game. Although most of the characters are selfish and deviant, the reader can't help falling in love with every one of them, and the fast-paced plot will keep you guessing until the very end. Ellen Raskin leaves a trail of brilliant clues for the reader to follow, and builds up each chapter in a way that every single one will leave you desparate to read on and discover the truth behind each character and their past. This book is highly recommended for all ages, because the intense plot will keep you racing through the pages.
