Witch and Wizard by James Patterson tells a story of two teenage siblings who have mysterious magic powers. Patterson is largely known for his novels about fictional psychology. The author’s overall message is that most journey’s lead back to home.
         Witch and Wizard takes place in a gloomy area called Overworld. Two teenagers, Whit and Wisty, are taken from their homes and are imprisoned for reasons unknown to them. They later learn that they were sent away because of the mystical powers they possessed. For example, Wisty Allgood, a powerful flame wizard, has the ability to engulf her whole body in fire. Whit Allgood, a mystical wizard, has the power to travel between dimensions. Now their goal is to escape and save their family from the N.O. also known as the New Order, a society that Whit and Wisty are rebelling against to prevent them from turning the world as they know it into a chaotic planet.
