Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard, Book 1: The Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan

The Swords of Summer is based on Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard. The books starts off when a kid named Magnus Chase losing his mother. Growing up alone on the street and his life changes at the age of 13 when he meets his uncle. After some unfortunate events Magnus wakes up in Valhalla and is told he will be on a quest that will save the world.
