The Cellar by Natasha Preston
The book The Cellar By Natasha Preston, is a book about a young girl named Summer who gets abducted by a psychotic man. He locks her in a cellar, with three other girls. He changes her name to “Lily” and considers them his flowers. He calls himself Clover. He says he wants to “protect” them. Summer deeply misses her friends and family, especially her boyfriend Lewis who’s frantically looking for her. Clover pretends as if they are a family. Some things change over time as his uncontrollable actions get the best of him... Will Lewis ever find Summer?
This book was excellent. The author changed the point of view of the characters, so you got to see what each person was thinking and how it affected them. She described each situation thoroughly. You could almost imagine being there yourself. The plot twists and suspense made the book very interesting and almost impossible to stop reading! I would highly recommend, the composition of this book is outstanding!
