Icebound by Dean Koontz
Icebound by Dean Koontz is a thrilling book about Harry Carpenter and his team of scientists that goes to the Arctic icefield to perform an urgent experiment, in which sixty explosives are set on a timer to go off at midnight. During this experiment, a terrible tidal wave bursts through where they are set up. This leaves the team with less time to get off the icecap and to safety. At the same time, there is a murderer amongst the group that can strike at any minute. This leaves the team desperately waiting for a group of Russians to come and rescue them off the icefield before the clock strikes midnight. Can the team make it off in time to save their own lives?
