The Search For The Red Dragon by James A. Owen
Hi I'm doing a review on the book "The search for The Red Dragon". It was a very interesting novel with nice characters and comedic dialog. There are three main characters there names are John, Jack, and Charles. They are professors at Oxford University in England. Another character is Lara Glue. she is a young girl who uses wings made by Icarus. Not the one who made them in ancient Greece there just related. Lara Glue talks about the kids being kidnapped. The three summon their friend Bert. He comes in the indigo dragon and talks about how the dragon ships are being kidnapped. They all go to the archipelago for search of them. the Indigo dragon was re-built as an airship and could now fly. the problem in the wind is really strong. The archipelago is a mythic place filled with creatures that originated from books and stories that people have told. They encounter with a badger man. He was selling copies of the Imaginarium Geographica. It is The most important book in the world. John, Jack, and Charles have been chosen to protect it, The original copy. Several generations of the caretakers have watched over it. Some people have tried to share its power to the world. The caretaker, Houdini, tried but it was taken before anyone realized the power was not just some cheesy magic trick.
Once they got to the archipelago they met the green knight. this was one of my favorite scenes but you need to read it to find out why.
Im not going to tell any more of the book so go and buy it. The cost is like $3.00 and it is worth it. The only reason its not a 5/5 stars for me is the talking is way to much for my type of book but i did enjoy it surprisingly. It is at least a 4/5 stars.
