This book absolutely outstanding and very interesting. Laura Hillenbrand gives detailed detail which created me as a reader to latch on to the book. During Suspenseful parts, this book is impossible to put down. I must say that Laura Hillenbrand really outdid herself with his book.  I haven't read her book "Sea-biscuit, American Legend", but there is no way it can be better than Unbroken. Both of these stories are historical fiction, and I am not into that, but Hillenbrand has turned me into one.
There is a troubled boy named Louie Zamperini in Torrance California. He grows up in a poor Italian family, and steals everything he can get his hands on. He has an older brother named Pete who forces Louie out of his childish ways and creates a runner. Louie becomes a star, an Olympic star for the United States. Then WWII brakes out, and the Olympics which were hosted in Tokyo are cancelled. Louie gets drafted into the military, and becomes a bombardier. Louie and his team get shot down, and are afloat at sea. They float in Japanese territory and are force into brutal concentration camps.
I recommend this book to whoever is looking for inspiration, or a good book. This was a great book and I believe that everybody should read it before they graduate High School. This book is written great and easy to read. The vocabulary isn't has hard as some books which is great for me. That is another reason this book came to my head as the best book I have ever read. This book was nice flowing and astonishing.
I had a great time reading this book and whoever hasn't read it will. This book gives great themes of inspiration and he way of life. The advice Hillenbrand gives is amazing, and you can learn great things from this book. If you choose to read Unbroken u will not regret it and you will congratulate he great Louie Zamperini.
