An abundance of Katherines by John Green
John Green explains the thoughts of young-adults and how they get through the ups and downs about love, life, and happiness. Poor Colin Singleton definitely goes through this cycle. Do you have a dating type? Well, Colin seems to like Katherine's, like a lot. I mean if he can date 19 of them.
Colin is a child prodigy and desperately wants to be important and matter in life. Whats that? It means he is constantly reading, studying, and learning, and dreams to one day be a genius . Is he a genius in dating? Well one day Katherine 19 breaks it off and Colin has a breakdown. So him and his best friend Hassan go on a "life road-trip" to wash out the bad memories and make better ones. They end up working in some factory in Gunshot, Tennessee for the entire summer. And also happen to meet some girls along the way. Colin doesn't find an interest in Katherine's but his new one seems to be Lindsey.
Well, this book puts you in the position that you always want to know whats going to happen next , and has a lot of great teem-psyche tips including, " You can love someone so much... but you can never love people as much as you can miss them " - John Green.
This book was very attention grabbing and I would prefer it for teen, young-adults, because I think they would love it, I sure did.
