                              The Fault in Our Stars
During the summer of 2015, I read a book called The Fault in Our Stars. It is truly an amazing book. I started off reading this book during the school but I never finished the book I wasn’t even half way through so, I decided I could finish reading the book this summer. This book is about a teenage girl Hazel Grace would is battling cancer, she is always depressed and thinks she is going to die. Her mother then sent her to a local support group for cancer survivors, “The literal heart of Christ.” During the time of going to the support group she met a guy named Augustus Waters and began to like him. They became fast friends.
Hazel meeting Augustus in the book actually made me want to continue the book because it is a love story at the same time which makes it interesting to me. From then on they always hung out often. One day Peter emailed Hazel inviting her to Amsterdam, which has always been a dream come true for Hazel Grace. Augustus has surprised Hazel with saying he would take her to Amsterdam. The only problem is Hazel’s parents and her doctor would be too worried to leave her and with heron her on oxygen they don’t want nothing bad to happen during the mean time.
After a while of deciding they finally decided to let to travel to Amsterdam to meet Peter. Once they got to meet Peter, it didn’t turn out so great he was very disrespectful to both of them and was a drunk. Peter’s assistant took them out to make it up. Not much later Augustus was having trouble with his cancer and everything was going downhill. He then passed away. At his funeral Hazel sees Peter and found out his daughter passed away from cancer. In my opinion, this is truly a great book I suggest all of you to read especially if you like sad and romantic novels. I love how the author of this book made me think that Hazel was going to die because she had more health problems but instead it was Augustus; so it was predictable but turned out the opposite.
