Mazerunner by James Dashner is a story about a world that has become infected with a disease known as the flare. The story focuses on Thomas, a teenage boy, who wakes up in a metal box deep in the ground with no memories except for his name. Thomas is raised up in the metal box to a large field known as the Glade, right in the middle of a huge maze. Thomas begins his life in the Glade and is shown the way that all the other boys who live there, live. All of the boys came into the Glade the same way as Thomas and they all want to escape. Throughout the story Thomas struggles with life in the Glade and finds out more and more about the secrets of the maze. I would suggest this book to everyone. It is a great read that keeps you on your toes and has you unraveling the mysteries of the maze alongside Thomas and the Gladers. It is full of unexpected plot twists and always keeps you entertained. I liked how the book keeps you guessing and keeps you reading no matter what. "My name is Thomas, he thought. That... that was the only thing he could remember about his life." The book begins by telling how much Thomas knows, but not why, so that you are hooked on the book from the very beginning. I believe that this a great read for teens and on up. This was a great book that kept me up all night and genuinely interested in what was really going on.

I chose to read this book because I watched the movie and wanted to see how well they did on copying the book. By the way... The book is way better. Way
