To Smells Dead Fish
Do you know how the important to be honor? The book named “On my honor” was written by Marion Dane Bauer. The book is about two boys named Joel and Tony who learn to be honor to prove their parent. Not to be honor give them a trouble and a lesson at the same time. This book is full of mysterious but I feel really good to read this book.

Tony and Joel are best friends and their families are close. They always go for fun and do something challenge. One day they are planning to go outside, which is the dangerous place. “On your honor, you won’t go anywhere except the park?” Joel’s father asks. “On my honor” Joel promise. When they arrive the Starved Rock bluff. Joel suddenly feel scare to make it. Then they decide to go back home. On the way go back home, they have found a river. The big trouble begin, when Tony convince Joel to get into the river. Does Joel get into the river? Will they ignore the promised? You’ll have to read the story to find out.

I like this book because I think it teach me many lessons. For example the massage “To be honor.” As you see, Tony and Joel promise their parent to not go anywhere else except the park but they are breaking an agreement.

I like this book because of the idea. “Tell the truth by stop lying.” At the first Joel is lying to everyone and he developer the problem from little problem to a big problem. All of these lessons are very important to you because it can lead you to become a quality Joe.

This book On My Honor, remind me of my own experience. When I was very young, I promised with my grandmother to go straight to school every morning but I wouldn’t often go to school. Sometime I leave school and went to Internet cafe with my friend. I keep doing this until my house find out everything including skipped school. Also my GPA is very low and I must come to improve my grade every day after school. They decide to ground me for a week and not let me go anywhere except my bed room. I shouldn't have done that. If I am honest, I wouldn’t stay in the bad room whole week. It’s my bad experience and I feel ashamed of myself because I love my grandmother and I never make her angry before.

I’m just only through the whole book, “On my honor.” I can say that if you want to improve your honesty, you are going to want to have this book on your hand.
