Some like adventures yet some don’t particularly feel like it’s there type of fun. For Bilbo Baggins, he likes to sit in the comfort of his hobbit hole. Being left alone is all a hobbit has ever wanted, until one day when a wizard stops by. The wizards name is Gandulf and asks Bilbo if he would like to come along on a journey to get back the castle that rightfully belongs to one of the dwarfs named Thorin Oakenshield. He thought maybe a journey wasn’t for him until dwarfs change his mind. So the journey will begin with 13 fat, hungry, smelly, dwarfs. They would be Dwalin, Balin, Kili, Fili, Dori, Nori, Ori, Oin, Gloin, Bifur, Bofur, Bombur, and Thorin.
When Bilbo Baggins makes up his silly mind, he decides to go on this long journey, risking his life for people he didn’t particularly like for coming into his home and eating all his snacks, but eventually, the journey brought them closer together. Risking each other’s life to take back Thorin’s Castle from the horrifying dragon Smaug that laid upon gold and other treasures such as the Arkenstone which belonged to Thorin’s grandfather. They fought enormous spiders, ugly Orcs, Trolls, and Goblins, and horrifying wargs. This journey will be one that Bilbo will never forget but you will have to read it yourself to be able to capture the mind blowing experience.
I recommend this book to people who are into adventures and fun, maybe even a little bit of comedy. It is full of riddles that maybe you can’t solve and you can sing along with the dwarfs. So Keep Calm and Read The Hobbit.
I think the book was pretty interesting, I think that it was an adventurous book that kept you on the edge of your seat. It is also very great to read in a classroom because you can have some people to be the voice of each character which can be pretty amusing.
