The Hobbit is a book about a Hobbit who decides to go on an adventure with 13 dwarves. They go through many dangers and obstacles to take back their long lost gold. They brought Bilbo Baggins so he can be the burglar and steal the gold from the mighty Smaug, the dragon. They march on to get to the Lonely Mountain.

Through the battle of five armies there was a few tragedies. Thorin Oakenshield was slain down and so was Fili and Kili. Before that battle Bard killed the dragon with the black arrow so now the dwarves can safely go inside the mountain without that dragon being there.

I recommend this book to younger teenagers and older adults. If you are too young you will not like The Hobbit in my opinion. I didn’t think that I was going to like this book at first but then it turned out to be a really good book. This book started slow at first but then it picked up the pace a little bit into the book. If you like fantasy books you will like the Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien.  I am not a big book reader but this book was pretty good.

My opinion is a pretty good one. This book started slow and I was bored when I was reading it at first but then after some time it got more interesting. I hardly ever read books especially fantasy book but I liked this book. In my opinion you should give this book a shot.
