The Hobbit is an adventure where thirteen dwarves, a wizard, and a hobbit go to fight a dragon to get back there gold. The dwarf king, Thorin, or the King Underneath the Mountain so is his grandfather’s name too. Thorin’s grandfathers actually name was Thror which his base was taken over by the dragon. The dragon has made his base underneath the mountain his home and he sleeps on the gold every night. The dragon has one weak spot for the archer with the black arrows has the opportunity to shot an arrow in that spot to kill the dragon. After the dragon has died the Wood Elves, and the Humans wanted some of the gold because they lived in the same area. Then the dwarf king wanted it all for the dwarves because it was his grandfathers. Then they went to battle, but the goblins show up, and the eagles come too. The battle was called the Five Armies Battle.
     The goblins were ridding wolves and they were the enemy to the humans, dwarves, eagles, and the elves. That is why it is called the Five Armies Battle, but does the dwarf king make it out alive?
     I would recommend The Hobbit written by J.R.R Tolkien to anyone who likes adventures, make believe creatures, and battles/ wars. This book is a very good book to read with a class, or with a group of people. Everyone can experience a very good adventure together, and you can always read it by yourself. This book is very well planned out and it has funny parts, action parts, and scary parts. I’ll give this book a 5/5 because how organized it was and I liked the format also.
     My personal opinion is that I like this book one hundred percent because how good the story was, and how good it was organized. The characters were detailed and so were the places they traveled in there adventure. The story was very well done just from the characters were not used to often they call came in and out of the story plenty of time. That is my book review on The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien.
