This book is one of the most action packed fiction stories I’ve ever read. J.R.R Tolkien did exceptionally well when constructing this novel. Bilbo Baggins is a little old Hobbit who is chosen a burglar to steal the treasure from Smaug. You can’t be caught if you can’t be seen. They have many hardships just making it to the mountain where the treasure is held up and Bilbo finds a very useful tool.
He encounters many threats in the hostile environment but encounters one in particular where he finds his tool that in the end will help him destroy Smaug. He lays deep under the mountain of the goblins in his own little lake where he lurks looking for his next meal.  Bilbo and Gollum have a game of riddles to see if Bilbo gets eaten or is escorted out of the mountain by Gollum himself to continue his adventure to kill Smaug.
If you’ve liked what you’ve read so far I’d recommend you reading The Hobbit. It is one of my favorites and I’m sure you’ll enjoy just as much as I have. It is a great book for readers 13 and up. The reason I recommend it for teenagers is because of the way the book is written is tough for young readers to comprehend.
I really enjoyed this book by J.R.R Tolkien. He did exceptionally well with the characters and the story line.  This was a book that I couldn’t put down. I loved how adventuresome the book is and how much excitement. This book sure lives up to its name as one of New York’s bestselling author and book of all time.
