Teen Ink Book Review
“It all started when I saw myself dead.”
Rose Gardner was a typical young woman, she worked at the DMV. However, she thought it was bad to work at the DMV in the afternoons. Rose sees visions, but they’re not exciting visions. She sees the toilet over flooding, she sees her neighbors daughter sneaking out in the middle of the night with her boyfriend, and things that do not relate to her.  Until one common afternoon working at the DMV, she had a vision of her being dead on a sofa at her house. Rose was worried, but she knew that the visions were not really accurate sometimes, so her life was going to continue normally she thought. Rose lived with her mother. However they didn’t have the best relationship, Rose’s mother was really mean to her. Rose couldn’t do absolutely anything without her mom yelling at her, this was a nightmare to rose, but rose was the only one that was there for her. When Rose finds her mother dead, in the same sofa she saw herself dead in the vision, her world changes completely. She is know the suspect of her mother’s murder. Even though she knows she is innocent, rose starts to plan a list of things she hasn’t done in her life. She know feels free, and people judges her and looks at her weird due to the fact that she is living her life right after her mother was killed.
Personally I really liked “Twenty-eight and a half wishes” , therefore I would totally recommend it, specially to the people that loves suspense and love stories.
