"I like trains"

Buck the dog was unruly sold to a stranger by Manuel, who he believed that trust was able to be given easily to, after of which he was then thrown onto a train in a sack; thus, implementing a distrust for humans. Later in the story Buck has to strive to the top in order to survive the ongoing attacks made upon him while he is in his sled dog team.
Buck the dog is the central character in which The Call of The Wild, first published in is focused around. Buck was a docile dog before he was sold by Manuel; however, Buck later became far less acquiescent by behaving in a manner which could be considered by many as savage and fierce. Buck faced multiple problems and challenges throughout the story which accumulated into adventures big and small. These adventures range from surviving beatings from humans to fending off attacks by the other sled dogs.
I could relate to Buck because Buck is adventurous and likes to be in the woods which is very similar in what I like to do. Some of the things that Buck does in the story are things that I have done before, like going into the forest to camp and being outdoors when it’s cold.
Of the entirety of the book it was very enjoyable and fun to read as well as to own. The Call of The Wild is a book with parts that are always memorable, but the most exciting part of the story is when Buck fought Spitz for dominance and won.
If I could I would hands down recommend this book to anyone and everyone because it is a book that provides you with all the action, adventure, and excitement you could ever ask for in a book.
