The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka
The Metamorphosis was first published in the 1915.
“He remained in state of empty and peaceful reflection until the tower clock struck three in the morning. Then, with his consent, his head sank down to the floor, and his nostrils streamed his  last weak breath.” The Metamorphosis page 51 .
Gregor Samsa is a young man who turns into a beetle like insect overnight. His family is affect because Gregor can’t go to work no more since the change. He tries to change back but he can’t and his family having issues with his physical change.
my family does not want me to die like his family wanted.
Yes, I would recommend this book to another person if they like to read a book of how a person physical change affected him and his family. While the book may be a little hard to understand, it’s a good book to read: additionally, there an explanatory notes to the text to help you understand more of what the book and author is trying to say.
The main character is Gregor Samsa because he the one who becomes a beetle like insect overnight. Gregor did run into problems with his family. They wanted for him to get better and change back to a human; however, he couldn’t even though he try everything he could to change back.
I felt the same way Gregor feels about wanting to give his sister and family everything although
