Invisible by James Patterson and David Ellis is a great book full of twists and turns that will slowly draw you in. I would definitely recommend this book to people who are my age and older. I would recommend this book specifically to people who enjoy reading mystery/crime books. Someone who likes books involving the FBI, mystery, crime, murder, etc. would definitely enjoy this book. I liked the fact that the author switched back and forth between Emmy and the suspect. It gives a nice insight on the suspect’s thoughts and views as the story progresses.

The book seems to target an older age group. The book uses a lot of terms that may be hard for some readers to understand. The book really goes in and it sounds like an actual FBI investigation. The plot may be a little confusing at times for readers because of all of the twists and turns involved. The plot and the words aren’t impossible to understand, but older people have a better chance of understanding it. I do think that kids my age could read this book and understand it well enough to know what is going on.

Sometimes the author used emotion, other times he did not. He used gruesome and vivid detail at times. These details made me feel disgusted. I could imagine the things the suspect did to the victims. I felt sympathy for Emmy because her sister was murdered by the suspect.

Sometimes the story was hard to follow. There were many twists and surprises in the story that kept me interested. I thought the characters sounded like an actual FBI bureau conducting an investigation to catch a serial killer. I can’t say that I could relate to any of the characters in the story. The book’s ending was very surprising.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. All of the twists and turns in the story really caught my attention. This book held my interest until the very end. I would recommend this book to all lovers of crime and mystery books. The story was unpredictable and mysterious. This book kept me guessing the whole time.
