What if I told you that a guy named Blaze pulled the crime of the century with a dead man?  Another book by Stephen King called Blaze.  Blaze is a book about a man who tries to steal a baby from a rich Republican family that's worth $1,000,000 dollars. That's why I chose this book to read over the summer.  Something a bit different than most Stephen King's novels. Which was also written by Richard Bachman as well. Also as I read the summary about the book I began to wonder many questions about it, like "what happens to the baby, who is Blaze, does he get the money, and who is the dead man who pulled the crime with Blaze?"

The vocabulary is a bit strong in the book though, but every author writes differently from the next one. The situation in the story is mostly about Blaze. About how he lived through his horrible childhood and how he lived through it as a boy. It goes back and forth between the story, how he tries to steal the baby and about many childhood memories and stories as a boy leading up to the final moments and chapters of the book. If he finally gets the money or if he actually succeeds in stealing the baby or not?  As you read the story you'll begin to imagine more and more questions about what will happen next to Blaze or the baby.

The authors emotions and feelings about the book were very strong. He expresses Blaze's life and how he survived the way that he did. Blaze, as I said earlier had a bad childhood. First of all, his father threw him down the stairs three times and made a huge dent on his forehead. The dent is still there till the end of the story and is mentioned several times throughout the book. Later on he moves to an orphanage called Hetton House and gets in more trouble there. He also gets into fights constantly. Then one day stopped all of it. Now as an adult he does cons and scams to get money and the things he wants. As he keeps doing these cons he has made a few new friends along the way, making the cons better and bigger.

The book is more like a mystery and horror type book. You don't know what is going to happen next to Blaze or the baby. You don't really expect what the answer will be. You know exactly what's going to happen. Then it shocks you, what the results really are. This is another reason why I wanted to read this book over the summer. I recommend this book for people who like Stephen King. Oops or like a good mystery to read.

I think this was a good book to read over the summer. It has a lot of drama and excitement that will make you want to read the next pace. Also it's not like most Stephen King books. Where some people say it gives them nightmares after they read the book. Blaze is a different kind of book. Something not too scary, but still entertaining.
