The Maze Runner by James Dashner
I will be talking about a great book, The Maze Runner. The author of the maze runner is James Dashner. This book is great for readers that are twelve and older. Although, that is what I think. Some readers under the age of twelve might think its an easy book to read. I just said under the age of twelve because most readers under twelve ill have a hard time reading the book.
I really think this book is for readers that like books that have a lot of action. It is also grea t for readers that like books with lots of suspense. In my opinion this book is very unpredictable. The book kept me guessing over and over again, and I was only right once. This book is also good for readers that like learning as the main character does.
In the book, the author is very descriptive. It is like I am right next to the main character, when I'm actually just sitting in bed. While I was reading the book, I had everything going inside of my head. When he was describing someone's feelings, I could almost feel the same thing myself. If he is describing an object, I see the same exact thing in my head.
Don't worry about this paragraph, I won't spoil the book. The book is about a boy that randomly wakes up in a box that is heading upwards. The only thing that he remembers is his name , which is Thomas. When the elevator finally stops and opens, about fifty boys are staring down at him. When he comes out, he is in an open place with every thing you need to survive. Things like shelter, a farm, animals etc. The boys like to call it the glade. They also mention that they are surrounded by a maze, and have been trying to get out for two years, but weren't able to.
That pretty much is what the book is about. That, of course, isn't the entire story though. You have to read it to figure out the rest. The book has really caught my interest and I finished reading the book really fast. This is definitely my second favorite series. I hope you have learned from this review!
