"The gods have gone silent..." The Lost Hero is the first book in the Heroes of Olympus series. It is a spinoff of the Percy Jackson series, both of which were written by Rick Riordan. The book ceases to disappoint and is good enough to compare with Rick Riordan's other novels. The book can be complex and occasionally confusing, but also exciting, too! It is a great book that everyone can enjoy!

The Lost Hero follows teenagers, but is enjoyable to people of all ages. It includes uncomplicated vocabulary and is easy to read. It targets readers who enjoy action and adventure. It is most probable to be fiction because it is based in a world where greek gods, myths, and monsters exist! It is such a great book you'll find it hard to put down!

Rick Riordan can definitely capture a teenagers perspective. Piper has a crush on Jason, who has amnesia. She also battles a girl who uses her powers to dictate the Aphrodite Cabin. Leo has strong insecureties and often has to assure himself he's useful. Rick Riordan can really capture a teenagers perspective.

The Lost Hero follows Jason, Piper, and Leo on their quest. They journey to Chicago, Detroit, Quebec, New York City, San Francisco and more. Jason has amnesia but remembers enough to find out he has a long lost sister. Piper fights and internal conflict when she is forced to save the lives of her father or her friends. Leo fights insecurity as he feels the least important.

The Lost Hero is the best book ever! It is well written and easy to read. It will make you want to read the next book. It has excitement and twists! I highly recommend this book to everyone.
