There is a lot to learn and there is always great stuff out there even mistakes can be wonderful - robin Williams

Mia is a fifteen year old girl with a lot on her mind. Her boyfriend is overwhelming her. Her friend announces something at an assembly that is very unexpected and changes Mia's whole year. With all of this she is also juggling princess lessons which has been a hassle from the start. I would recommend this book for young adults and teen girls. I feel they can relate to this book. So, can Mia juggle all the pressure? Or will she crumble under it all?

This book seems to target 5th through 9th or 10th grade students. This book is not very appropriate until around high school. The book's plot, I personally think is a little complicated because she has one problem then another and another. The writer can be emotional writer with in ten minutes of reading.

Sometimes it is emotional which you can really get into, but sometimes you can get bored easily because of lack of emotion in that part. In one part she is rambling boring facts, then the next day she is talking about an awesome slumber party in a hotel. This story is not very well organized, she has problems all over the place in this book.

This book is about some very intimate topics of teenagers today. Mia Thermopolis is a 10tn grader at Albert Einstein High School. She has a cool best friend and a boyfriend named Michael. Mai has to deal with normal teenage girl problems including stress. Mia is a very stressed person, with a lot on her schedule. Her stress ties into her family/parents because they are a little bit strange, buy she learns to deal with it throughout the book.

In the end I think this book is a great book. I like how Mia is very relatable. At the time there are some things I find not so great. Mia is a hot mess and has 4,000,000 things all going on at once. It can get pretty confusing sometimes. There are also things in this book that are very intimate subjects that I don't think teens would write in their diary. I don't think most teens have a diary to begin without that is just my opinion.
