The book I read is called Hero by Mike Lupica. I definitely would recommend this book to others. I would mainly recommend it to teenagers or a little younger, so from ages about 11-15 years old. Hero is a great book, and kept me interested the whole time. It is one of the best books I have ever read.

Hero is geared to kids my age. I don't think kids very young would enjoy it. Neither do I think older kids would find it interesting. The vocabulary is moderate, meaning there isn't many tough words I don't understand, but they aren't really easy. Most things in this book could be real and actually happen, other than the disappearing man, and the investigators  on here crash wouldn't usually just stop trying to find out what happened.

In Hero, Zach is 14 years old. His dad works for the president. He is never able to see his dad. One day his dad leaves and Zach will never see him again. When his plane crashes out of no where, no one knows what happened. The news say it was engine failure, but Zach knows something else was wrong and that his dad was too good of a pilot. He does everything to find out what really happened.

Lupica's emotion really changes the book. The emotion in every character changes throughout the book. At first Zach is sad about his dad never being home but changes as the crash happens. I like how his emotion creates suspense and excitement in the book. Lupica did a great job with the emotion.

I really liked Hero. It was the best books I have ever read. The plot is great and the characters all play an important role. Hero is a book I would definitely recommend to others. In my opinion, I don't get why anyone wouldn't like it.
