Have you ever heard of kids who have wing and can fly? Well, James Patterson wrote this exhilarating novel called Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment. This story is about a girl named Maximum Ride and a flock of other kids, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman, and Angel. The story is about how Angel gets kidnapped by a large group of bad wolf like creatures called Erasers who can shapeshift from human to monster. They travel across America, to find out who they really are, at a place called the Institute. I highly recommend this book from young adults to adults. I say this because I couldn't put this book down a all.

I think this story was very well put together. Also I think it is easy to follow and understand. There are twists and turns through the whole book. Also another point is the characters aren't very realistic because they have wings and can fly. Finally it can relate a lot to a few of the characters, mostly I can relate because of age.

It seems this book is geared toward young adults. It seems that way because there is some mature content in this book, but mostly violence. There is some blood and death in the novel too. Next I think this books plot is very well thought out. It is pretty easy to understand so that means you don't have to go back and read things over again.

The voice the author uses isn't very emotional. The writer just expresses emotion when needed. I don't think James Patterson is a very emotional man. I think if more humor was added it would make this book have more emotion. In the book he doesn't use very much humor but he manages to keep the reader interested.

In conclusion I think this book was a great start to the Maximum Ride series. This book could be read and enjoyed by adults and young adults of any age. This book will not let you put it down. Then you'll have to go read the second book!
